Alright, so since you didn’t mention a character, I’ll just pull one out of my ass.
Back before Jeremy’s father got sick, Jeremy’s family would all go to the roller rink every other Friday, as the prices went down on Friday nights. It was something that they all would look forward to a lot.
Unfortunately, soon after Jeremy’s 16th birthday, his father got really sick, and the roller rink visits went from being every other Friday to once a month, then every other month until finally they just stopped going all together, despite how much Jeremy’s father insisted that they go without him.
They did do that a few times, but it just wasn’t the same.
