I’m so glad that my best friend is happy. nikkialeece, you deserve the best. You’ve been through so much and you’ve come out of it all with your chin held high. I hope this semester has been treating you well so far. We’ve had rough patches, but I am so glad that our friendship has lasted the test of time. Always and forever, babe. I’ll be right next to you through it all. I miss you every day, and can’t wait to be reunited come May. We shall make up for lost time all through the summer!! <3 I’m honored that you want me standing next to you when you marry your best friend, and even more honored that you want me to write a poem for the occasion! I could not be more happy for you and what’s to come in your life. All the best.

And of course, the ever lovely cyberlump: BABE YOU’RE GONNA GRADUATE. HOLY COW. I remember when you were just a wee little freshie and we started talking over twitter about music. I knew we’d be friends because of that. You’re growing into such an independent woman, and it’s fantastic to watch you. You’ve come such a long way, and I can’t wait to see what’s to come as you go off to uni. And if you choose Chicago, I’ll probably see you around (; We will go concert hopping over the summer, as well as hit up the art museum, of course. I miss you lots. Remember I’ve always got your back.

Last night, my best friend texted me at about 2:30 am my time with the fantastic news that she is engaged. I am so, so happy that I have the honor of standing next to her as she marries the love of her life. I am absolutely buzzing right now.

There are two people who have understood me enough to talk me out of suicidal thoughts. They have sent me some of the kindest words I've ever heard, and their presence alone could calm me down in a heartbeat. A new year is beginning soon, and this year they've helped me the most.

To Nicole: I am so excited to see your future plans come to life. I am more excited that you want me to be such a big factor in it! Thank you for sending me links to messages and music that have helped me. I actually just added Uptown Funk to my mp3 player, so flying won't be so scary. I will miss you so much while I'm across the pond, but that's why I bought the bff necklaces. You have a part of me, and I have a part of you. Partners in crime for life. <3

To Emily: You gave me this vinyl this morning, and I am already blasting it to make me feel better. I am so glad that we were able to spend so much time together this year, and always remember I am a short walk away. Except for like, 5 months. I digress. Thanks for listening to me vent about life and get all existential in the middle of art museums. You are incredible, and you will have a great time in college! Stay golden. <3

Got my second tattoo with my best friend tonight. I was waiting to go when she asked if I’d be her maid of honor, and I squealed and dropped my phone. I’m still kind of in shock, like, that’s CRAZY. I’m gonna be in a wedding! Like, a wedding party! I GET TO PLAN THE BACHELORETTE PARTY. She’s not engaged yet, and the wedding will be a ways off, but I feel so lucky that it’ll happen. This girl has been with me through thick and thin, and I couldn’t have asked for a better friend. I love her.

I already posted a status about my four best friends, but they deserve more than a brief description. So, here we go.

Nicole, I have known you since eighth grade. Wait, no. I just realized I lied on facebook. We met in fifth grade and got close in sixth. Oops! Regardless, I've known you for a long time. I am so appreciative of all you've done. I know we had that year of not speaking, but I'm thankful we got back together after that. You're one of the few people from high school that I try to hang out with during breaks, and I love how we can talk about anything. Summer was absolutely fantastic with you!! If we ever lose touch, I'll be upset, because I don't want to lose you again. And remember, I will spend almost every day of summer with you (and I'll also catch up on Supernatural so I can join the Crowley fan club hehehe).

Connor. We've been friends for over a year, and it all started on here. I'm so thankful for having you to talk to on campus. We can act like kids yet still have the seriousness for our age. Let's take more webcam selfies when we go back! We can order pizza too, because why not? I'm also grateful for our skype session last night. It made me happy blogging with you as I rang in the new year (even if you still had a few hours to go)!

ASHLEA aka biggie: girl. I love how you talked to me on here, and then we both completely forgot until this year. Even while we were in psychology. That just astounds me. But it also shows me we were meant to be big and little ;D You are a flawless person, and I was really happy when you said you were stoked I was becoming a Phi Mu. We need to have a cyber date, too, since you have money on your jacket now!

Ian, I think I've talked to you almost every day of break, and I appreciate that you listen to me rambling (especially when it's late and I laugh at almost everything). I'm super glad we can sit around listening to Thomas the Tank Engine remixes during finals week and not judge each other. Especially with the head bobbing. Thanks for your support and the virtual hugs. You are an A+; never forget that!
