I hope it's ok to ask you this, but do you know of any good cons in the pdx area for a beginner to table at? I'd really like to start doing artists ally's, but the only cons I've ever tabled at we're really small local ones in a much smaller town. I figured you might have a better idea? If you don't wanna/can't answer that's ok too! I just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask c:

rose city comic con 2015 was my very first con and i did very well! it literally just got done with today, but you should apply next year for sure. thats my only definitive answer; i am also going to Newcon PDX in december, maybe check that out if you dont want to wait a whole year for rccc 2017. i dont know about kumoricon either, that’s just been moved to portland but the applications are closed now anyway. 

but yea rose city comic con for sure. it’s portland’s biggest con. it is especially helpful if you have a table partner with some experience

^^^ After Matt’s Claire romance, the setup with Karen and Foggy, and basically every other time Matt interacts with another woman I still can’t figure out why they went with Karen for him to be interested in like???

oh my god yeah. the karen/foggy setup was pretty nice, and matt/claire was decent but i can understand why it ended. potential matt/karen is just kind of like... whoa!! here’s this new romantic tension/nervousness from outta nowhere!!

also im scared of like, karen having to choose between foggy & matt. like thats my worst fear
