"I need some good news amidst all this suspicion," Fen'harel sighs dramatically as they throw themselves into Niko's bed and turns to glance at the man curiously. There is something different about him, something she can't quite put a finger on, and they are hoping that it means that he has at last gotten his shit together in a way that made him more than just a functioning adult. It is concerning, after all, that being a tree left him with such a long term effect. "Any progress on the letting loose front? I would guess that the damned war would at least be good for that."

"Oh wait, I think I recognize you," Zoey admits while squinting at the stranger. There is something familiar about his features, but it takes her a hot second or two to realize that she recognizes him from Kon's sketchbook. As always, Kon's drawings are fantastic, and it only takes her a second or two to remember who he is. "OH wait, mushroom-tree boy! You are Kon's brother, right?"

Describing what he is feeling as panic would be an understatement. With the Titan spell broken, Davhy had spent his time shifted into his wolf form as he tore through the lines of drows all around the city. Battle mentality is easy to fall upon, easy to sustain, but even then, there are key times when one can lose their concentration. For him, it comes when he watches the Pyramid fall, fear coursing through his vein as one thought echoes on his head.

It has a few weeks since they last met, a few weeks since what he assumes it's their last kiss, and he can't still bring himself to face the druid. Not when he had left after the kiss, ran away from him without any word. Davhy realizes that he had pushed too hard, too fast, and has lost him for that, but—. But even when he realizes that Niko does not love him, he cannot bear the thought of him being death. So he runs, faster than he has ever ran, the wind flying by as he heads towards the Pyramid, turning back into his elf shape as he does and looking around frantically for Niko.

"Something is bothering that little mind of yours," Fen points out as they approach Nikolai, a brow raised at the expression on his face. Last time she had seen her fellow druid he had been running out the door following fey magic. She had meant to inquiry further, but the preparations for the war had kept them busy. Now, they are doing rounds between the newest acolytes to ensure they are prepared before they must depart to meet with their squad. "Put it away for now, you cannot afford distractions."

After failing to check on Evan and Isla as soon as he got back from his travels, and not getting a chance to help Isla with her sickness. Davhy did not want to leave any other reunions for later, no matter the time. That is what drives him towards the Pyramid of Cestius with quick steps, the air around chillier than the calm autumn temperature on his worry. The plague that spread across Rome didn't seem to have been too lethal to the supernatural, but he would not feel calm until he had seen his druid. As a precaution, he had sent a little ice construct forward to lure Niko out of the pyramid and on his direction. As he feels the druid's presence grow closer, Davhy feels himself relax, a broad smile on his lips as he looks at the figure growing bigger as he approaches.

"Nikolai! It is a pleasure to see you well after so long," he calls, coming to a stop before him and bouncing on place to get rid some of the nervous energy that had begun filling him as soon as he saw him. Oh, how he wanted to kiss him, the troupe's trip too long for him not to feel tempted to break his own rules. "How do you fare?"

“Druid familial relationships are all sorts of fucked up, aren’t they wide-eyes?” Dionaeia comments as she sits next to the druid that resembles Aren remarkably. She remembers his face, from her visits to Perseus when Aren who now goes by Andreas went by that name. Druidic children, the most curious of occurrences. If it weren’t for her desire not to wrap herself into whatever mess Aren was making with his hesitation, she would give the man before her the truth. As it is, she supposes she will have to sit back and sit if the nymph look alike is going to figure out anytime soon that one of the Archdruids was daddy dearest in another life.

“You know, nothing better to get used to the present than actually explore the bars and meet people, maybe even sleep with them,” they mention to the poor little druid that seemed to grow progressively more confused as the days passed and he learned more and more information. All innocent and wide eyed, and entirely too much of an easy prey for scammers and the like. “Make mistakes, fight some assholes, figure out who is going to fuck you over and fuck them over instead. You know, all essential life skills in modern society,” they shrug as they glance at him from where they are fixing their appearance on a hallway mirror. “By the Inferno, some fucking might help you unwind too.”

“Can I help you with something?” Despite the druid’s world falling apart, the world kept moving on, and with that her job. Evy is lucky that is summer and she didn’t sign up to teach any summer courses, but even then, she has to show that she is continuing her research just enough to keep the department chair off her back, which means weekly trips to her university at the least. She is coming back from one of such trips, when she feels a gaze on her and she turns to find a vaguely familiar face staring back at her.
