In the few films that put fathers in motherly roles, none of them deal with a father taking an active role in more feminine tasks such as helping daughters with puberty. When the Wolf Comes Home is meant to challenge not only what it means to be a father, but also what it means to be a good parent.
@nikylodeon reached out to me about something super cool that’s in the works, and I thought I’d share it with you all. Like I said, one of my goals as an aspiring filmmaker is to help other artists with their own creative endeavors. I think it’s important that as artists, especially indie filmmakers, that we always have a tight community to lean on for support because it’s hard to break through and get our names out there.
She informed me that if they get 500 followers on the campaign, they can get free submission to film festivals which saves us hundreds in fees. That’s just amazing! So far, they’re a bit under 350 followers away from that goal and they currently have just shy of 30 hours left to help reach said goal. That’s not a whole lot of requirements at all, and I’m hoping that you all could help support something with loads of potential to be truly awesome.
So whether you’re an artist yourself or you’d like to help out the indie scene, please help to spread the word in any way you can. Every little bit helps, and we can do so much in numbers. We got this, everyone!
