The Ocean That is Life
Our bodies are stones on a shoreline, Beaten and weathered by waves of chaos Some crumble apart, others hold strong.
In Life, we choose.
Choose to live.
Choose to survive.
Choose to dig our heels in, or find another way.
Choose to keep going.
Life is not for the weak of heart, Life is not for the ones who give up, Life is not for those who let themselves be drug under.
When the waves crash upon our bodies, When the chaos tries to make us submit, Life is for the warriors. I am living.
You, are living.
Let us gnash our teeth and fight the waves, Let us scream out at what has gone wrong, Let us weep our tears of pain, And let us rise up when it is done,
Again. Again. Again.
Let us live, in all it's imbalanced joy and misery.
One stone alone would not survive this torrent, But together, we are a cliff side.
Together, we live.
