Hi, I haven’t played pokemon sweets since I was a kid but recently rediscovered it and have been having a lot of fun. Today I started playing the 2th one but I’m noticing that the type chart is different or at least Grape type is different. For example, Orange isn’t super effective anymore and it doesn’t resist Raspberry either so I’m a bit confused and can’t find any new type chart on Google. Would u know anything about this?
Hi! That's very cool that you've played this rom hack since you were a kid! I was in college myself around when the first one was being updated.
Unfortunately, without booting up the game and looking for a text-based explanation, I'm just as stumped as you are. One of the reasons I have so little information on this blog about the second game is because it doesn't work with a program called Yet Another Pokemon Editor (YAPE), and that was one of the tools I used to look at data that wasn't readily apparent (such as move learnsets or the evolution level of a Pokemon only available to catch at a higher level). The other program I have is only a map editor, so that's no help either.
