Lyssa glared at the other. Once again she hadn't done enough for someone and they were angry. Very angry. But so was Lyssa. "What the hell did you expect me to do? Just to put up with the abuse for your sake?" She growled. "Because that's just far too much to ask of me. And you damn well know it." For the past half hour she'd put up with the abuse that the other's partner was subjecting her too. Granted, it was only verbal abuse. But it was enough to drive her up the wall. She was about ready to punch them, but had enough self control not to. And she'd only refused to do it because of who they were in a relationship with.
