Our muses in a car accident. ( AND THEN MAYBE MAURA OR WENDY WAKE UP WITH AMNESIA )

Dazed, the first thing Maura became aware of was that her head ached. She reached a hand up to the side of her head, frowning when it came away covered in blood. A moment later she became aware of the smell of gasoline, and as she looked around to find herself still in the passenger seat of the car, recollection of the moment before the crash suddenly came back to her and she had to breathe deeply to try to keep herself from panicking. Everything hurt. She tried to get out of the car, only to find herself stuck. “Wendy?” she managed to whimper, trying to stay conscious as she clumsily reached out with one hand towards the other woman, praying that she was alright.

Maura was just finishing with washing the dishes after dinner when she became distinctly aware of Wendy’s presence behind her, feeling the other woman’s lips against her neck a moment later. She shivered slightly at the initial contact, a small smile settling on her lips and her eyes drifting closed. “Well, hello to you too.” The words came out in barely more than a whisper, hands instinctively moving to grip the edge of the counter.
