Present day 002
Inari's words seemed to snap something in his mind as he looked at his own spear and with a scoff he tossed it aside. Inari tilted her head slightly but kept her gaze upon him her maw parted slightly as flames could be seen within as they "oozed" out and licked at her muzzle. The human grabbed a ball that was hung at his hip and pressed a button. The red and white ball doubled in size and once tossed in the air it opened on it's own. With a flash a light one moment and a Pokemon appearing at once.
Inari didn't even take the moment to examine what pokemon appeared out the ball as she charged forward parting her maw more and the flames growing. Withing seconds the flames shot out in a sudden blasts engulfing the creature infront of her. After a few seconds of this Inari shut her jaws and the flames stopped revealing the Pokemon she attacked, a large seviper who just hissed out of annoyance ad the flames died down.
"poison tail!" The human shouted and without hesitation the seviper slither forward at the ninetales then suddenly stopped swinging it's heavy bladed tail at Inari a purple liquid dripping from it but just as quickly as the seviper could swing it's tail Inari could react. Inari leapt into the air dodging the attack, a dark aura surrounded the ninetales. Jus then the male called out another attack. "Bite!" But instead of moving the seviper flinched and Inari smirked knowing how powerful her dark pulse was and as she came down from her jump her nine tails swayed all towards the seviper slamming down onto it's muzzle with enough force to drive it's head down onto the ground. Taking advantage of the seviper stun state Inari whipped around biting down onto the back of the Pokemons neck.
The seviper hissed and flailed it's body around until it managed to wrap itself around the ninetales body the bladed tail tip pointed at the ninetales back but Inari jus bit down harder easily piercing through the sevipers scales drawing blood but Inari's gaze fell onto the human giving him a glare.
The human scrambled to grab the pokeball from before returning the seviper to it's ball and causing Inari to fall flat on her stomach taken by surprise that her enemy just disappeared from beneath her. She easily got back onto her paws but panting a bit.
" you could've killed her!" He shouted at the ninetales but Inari growled loudly slamming her left front paw on the ground.
"and if I didn't defend myself you would've had her kill me"
"but you deserve to die you're a monster"
Inari flinched at the words but lunged at him in the next moment her claws glimmering in the sun light.
"I'll show you whose a monster" Inari barked but just as quickly as she lunged he had grabbed his spear and had it pointed at her.
A hard thud echoed around them the silence. The human had fell back and the ninetales fell beside him. The spear impaled her from her underside and out her right shoulder but her gaze still remained on the male, her teeth still bared but her breathing labored.
The human blinked just meeting he gaze in complete shock that he actually impaled her so easily. He then jumped onto his feet and placed one foot on her rib cage gazing down at her triumphantly. Inari winced but lifted her head growling even louder but feeling him put more weight on his foot against her she just let he head drop onto the ground.
"do it. You got what you wanted and oh so easily"
His gazed soften as she spoke. This big bad beast that was supposed to be this ninetales was easily over taken and had just as easily given up.
" I think I made a mistake" he mumbled but Inari winced again before closing her eyes as she couldn't keep them open any longer. Her breathing still labored but constant. He took his foot off her then kneeled beside her.
"I'll fix this I promise" he said to her a slight flicker of her ears assured him he heard but she still just laid there.
