What boogoo said: No, but I think people tend to sympathise more with the subtlety of P&P over S&S—which draws very accurate characters, but rather extreme ones, who are, again true to life.
There are a lot of people who prefer Sense and Sensibility (Hattie is one). I've actually still not gotten around to reading that one in particular, so I'm not really in a position to make a judgment between them. I think I find myself so attached to Pride and Prejudice because of all the sisters and I'm basically a sarcastic Jane Bennet????
Also the dinner scene that ends up cut from every film version of P&P is just the best thing ever omg awkward babies.
