Me being my other account... @ninetyfive_percent 〰 #Regram Last week the @cleancoastcollective and a whole bunch of epic volunteers set up camp at Cape York and collected 7000.1 kg's of plastic from 6.7 km of beach. Today I discovered a little patch of trashed Greece beach, had 20 minutes, a discarded t-shirt and my two hands. I collected around: 30 bottle caps, 9 straws, 4 plastic bottles, plastic rope, 17 glow sticks and countless little bits ready to be eaten by a seabird or whale or fish to then end up in the food many people solely depend on. Coral growth on a plastic bottle?! Nature sure has a way of getting by... But we have to help it along concidering what we are doing to it... Our girl Harriet aka @thegrumpyturtle spent last week with @cleancoastcollective doing just that.
