honestly the funniest part of the layton series is. when you play the og games you're like "yeah he's a professor. he teaches archeology i think." then you play the prequels and learn that archeology is the most important thing in his life but also ruined it repeatedly literally since he was a child

there are people out there who only played the og trilogy and dont even know about the archeology mafia
