Well said. I think (may be just me or summit) but maybe, just maybe, a teeny tiny bit, Bioware might like Liara too much. Shocking thought, i know. They push her as a romance option, they over do her little breakdown and doom and gloom... Nothing against Liara, but damn... spare a thought for the less reproductively diverse eh?
Oh, I know. I like Liara well enough, but I prefer her much more as a friendly option for my Shepards. She’s pushed in the first game as being the cute, naive alien who openly crushes on you, and then matures through the games, but still retains a very overt amount of affection for Shepard. Considering that the ‘goodbye’ scene in London in 3 is basically a method of asari mating (along with the melding scenes in 1), even if you don’t romance her, you still have to sort of romance her.
