I truly appreciate and am very thankful for every single Teacher's Day gift given to me, but just for fun, I'm going to feature some of the coolest gifts I received this year. 1. A fighting fish (from Aida) – I find this gift the most unique because it's not everyday you get a fish from someone, right? Haha. But the first thing I thought was, "what am I going to do with this fish? I couldn't even keep a plant alive". It's only day 3 and already, the were moments I thought I have killed the fish (because it wasn't moving) and one time, I thought the fish was gone (it was hiding behind the tree). I seriously doubt it will stay alive for a long time under my care. 😅 #prayforthefish 2. A fidget spinner (from @tengku_rizq) – Now this is one unexpected and cool gift. Not only I can use it to improve my focus (that's what they said), I can also practise my ninja skills by using it as a weapon on my students who misbehave in my class. #ninjamodeon 3. Rose spray, lavender scrub and peppermint oil (from Iris) – This personalised gift set comes with a thoughtful card that says — use the spray when the day gets too hot in class, the scrub to relaxes sore muscles after a hard day at school and the oil when my head aches from all the noise they make. Haha. Funny and meaningful! 4. A travel bag (from @_mairarazak) – Those who know me well, know that I love travelling. So if this is not a perfect gift for a traveller like me, I don't know what else is. No doubt it will come handy and practical during my travels. ✈️ 5. Snacks/chocolate bouquets (from Adam Harith & an unknown student who put it on my table without leaving any card or name) – I simply love these because I have never received any type of bouquet before, not even during my graduation. Haha. Let's hope next year I will get a bouquet of fried chicken pulak. 😂 6. Food – Must I say more? Food rules! Food is life! Food is bae! Thanks again kids for the gifts (featured and not featured in this post). They are all so lovely and nice. Most importantly, thank you for not giving me any mug this year. Hahaha. 😂
