omg np it’s a hybrid au which basically means gav is a mix between cat + human… so he’s basically human (opposable thumbs, able to speak, carry out daily human activities, the likes) but harbors cat-like traits (heightened senses, heat cycles, etc). and it’s not uncommon for writers to include cat parts, like ears, tails, and claws. in my fic, it’s not mentioned much, but gav has cat ears. i hope this helps!!
