Tonight’s show pretty much rocked.

Spent most of the evening dead center of the pit with my son. Not much moshing on a work/school night.

It’s pretty funny to see all the grey in crowd tonight. Sometime in my forties I ended up with a head full of it myself.

I took vacation time to see these shows. I commute 1-1.5 hours each way to work. I figured that I’m old enough that I’d be very tired after one, much less two, weeknight concerts. It’s about an hour to the show and I didn’t feel like being on the road for 4 or 5 hours and work each day.

Everything about the show was pretty great except that I had to go back to my car to take back the lenses that I have for my phone. Grrr.

Lesson learned. I’m looking forward to the next night’s show!
