This took so long to make and I had arguments with my own tablet but I'm so happy with how it turned out!!
I would like to try more drawing and would gladly love pointers
But please enjoy my first self drawn piece of my oc Nìolo! 🩵
Behold Nìolo flexing 👀
Enjoy while I try and get new chapters out
Another WIP of Nìolo flexing. I will sloely try and figure out how to colour and render and draw muscles so currently it looks like she's very skinny 😅
~ Inspired Na'vi necklace ~
Based off of the necklace Neytiri wears:
I wanted to make a necklace made with similar techniques but matched the aesthetic of my Avatar driver oc Terra.
─────────────── ✦ ───────────────
Materials I used:
~Waxed brown thread
~Agate (4, 2 of each colour) and tiger's eye beads (2)
~One large seashell bead
~A lighter to secure the ends
─────────────── ✦ ───────────────
─────────────── ✦ ───────────────
How I made it was using the double spiral technique in macramé.
I first cut two equal lengths of the waxed thread (about 2 arms length, to allow lee-way in the length of the necklace). I knotted one of each end together , measuring out roughly my neck's circumference, making a knot at that end also.
Cutting another length of the thread (over 2 arms length just in case), fold this length in half and place the loop underneath the second knot.
You will now have 4 cords. The two in the centre will remain there as the core of the necklace and what I thread the beads onto. The two outer cords will be used to made the spiral in the image of the final product.
Taking the left cord, cross it over the two centre cords. Making a loop, where the curve is pointing to the left. It looks like a backwards P.
Taking the right cord, bring it under the centre cords and through the loop of the left cord. Taking the end of each outer cord begin to slowly pull tight around the centre cords. Once tight adjust this closer to the knot before repeating these steps multiple times to slowly see the spiral begin to form.
Once you're happy with a starting length you can begin by adding your first bead, make sure the hole of the bead it big enough to thread the two centre cords through. Pull the bead up the thread towards the spiral.
Continue the spiral steps around the bead and continue as normal.
Keep repeating with how many beads you'd like. I kept mine as symmetrical as possible but you can make this as asymmetrical as you'd like.
Once finished I knotted the two centre cords as close to the spiral as possible. Cutting the left and right cord close to the spiral before using a light to burn the ends and securing it in place.
Measuring the remaining length to the circumference of your neck and knotting that end also. Cutting the excess thread before using the lighter to secure the end also.
I made my necklace adjustable by making a U shape with the necklace. Making loose knots (not fully tightened) on each side, the loops facing inwards.
Thread each end through the opposite loop. Tighten the knots now as close to the spiral as possible. Using the lengths that we threaded through the knot you can pull them away to tighten the necklace or carefully pull them apart by the necklace so that it can expand and go over your head.
Now you are done! Irayo.

Drawing of Nìolos Ikran - Temek now coloured
I have finally coloured Temek! I'm so happy with how it came out as i was very worried about ruining it since I loved the line art. I believe in game I used skin pattern #4.
Very earthy in tones and looking at it. Temek looks like a small Toruk in colour lol.

Drawing of Nìolos Ikran - Temek
I really wanted to attempt drawing my oc Nìolo's Ikran, Temek, I did my best with the reference I had and honestly so proud of it as I add it to my Pandora Oc Journal. I may add colour and the pattern I chose but unsure whether to leave it plain and have a small swatch of the skin pattern.
Please let me know what you think! Or have any ideas in regards of other mounts I could draw. <3
