nirne-seabane:
'Forgive me your gra- I mean your majesty! Sorry it's just that where I'm from we refer to most of our lords as your grace. Plus I haven't actually met a king before..' Nirne trailed off, feeling as if she was rambling. 'Uh, if it helps, I saw a few people walk past a few minutes ago. Maybe they were the 'boys' you were talking about?' she suggested.
The man only had a smile for the woman, finding the way she talked to resemble his younger daughter just a tad. "That is quite all right," he assured, "Not many do."
And at her next words, he nodded, adjusting the reins a bit, the horse shaking its head at the bit a little. "That would be them," he confirmed, a grander smile, "though I am in no rush to meet them. I enjoy a good hunt like any, though I think it need not be met with such seriousness as those nobles seem to possess. Now, from what I gather you do not come from these lands, then, correct?"
