I have bronchitis and I was trying to think of something really simple to do for my friend’s birthday because I was feeling really drained and spaced out and somehow the thing I came up with was this... 😅😅😅 The little art cards are for each Ghibli film we’ve watched together and I’m gonna keep doing them as we watch more so he can add to his collection ☺️
The box is meant to look a bit like a Japanese lacquerware box (I was very unsubtle in taking inspiration from examples in the V&A’s collection if you wanna check those out) although obviously the texture is totally wrong because I used acrylic pens! 😄 Also I was limited in my supplies but it’s worth noting that Japanese lacquerware boxes aren’t usually chest-shaped unless they are for the European market.
