ever think about how nishiki stopped kiryu from killing shibusawa because he knows killing would change kiryu fundamentally and told him that if kiryu was ever to cross that line, they would do it together. that crossing the line together might be the only way to stop kiryu from losing himself if he were to ever kiryu. and then nishiki crosses the line without kiryu and loses himself in the process and because he crossed that line alone, he bacame that villain we see in kiwami.
