Cycled in the “Kroppacher Schweiz” today to map out a hiking trail. It’s a beautiful area in the Westerwald hills. We followed the river Nister, visited some elevated spots with nice views, such as “Spitze Ley” and “Hohe Ley”, an old slate mine, and Marienstatt Abbey.
