Good things for those who still read my on-going ML fic This Time I Might Disappear (Mariblanc). Wonderful Varfolomeeva has translated the fic with my permission in Russian. You can read the Russian version here.

English version is over here. I hope to update it again soon :3 While it has taken me years to write the fic, IT IS NOT ABANDONED. I write it whenever I feel like it.

Hey girl, just stopping by to say that it's wild to me that your fic 'This Time I Might Disappear' is 5 years old, I still remember reading it and excitedly drawing art for it(under my art blog papayapart)! I haven't read a ML fic in 3-4 years, but I started rereading your fic because your stuff is always *chef kiss* 😙👌 I look forward to future updates on it, I also wish you luck and send you all my positive energy for your recovery !!❤️❤️❤️

Like, talk about procrastination lol! 5 years and I still haven't finished one simple fic which isn't even that long nor will be xD But the fic seems to have a mind of its own so the chapters drop randomly. At least, they do drop, right? :D I mean, Mariblanc is such a delicious ship----!

fic writer tag game

I snatched this from @revasnaslan I don’t write too actively (anymore), mainly because I have been earning my living with writing and then I really don’t want to write on my free time, too :’D But now that I’m earning my living mostly art, I try to counterbalance it with writing more. 

fandoms: If I count ALL the fics, excluding my childhood  fanfic scribbles, I have written to Tekken, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy XV, She-Ra, X-Men, Trollhunters, Soul Calibur, Bleach, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid, Miraculous Ladybug, Inuyasha and Kuroko no Basket. Though I think my KNB fics are not up anymore but I removed them. I might have forgotten some fandoms, hmmm... 

number of fics: 18 in public. Some older ones are long gone. 

fic i spent the most time on:  The Loveless Prince. I wrote it a year and I still couldn’t finish it the way I wanted, but I had to cut it. 

fic i spent the least time on: Any of the one-shots. Those are nice and I enjoy taking a peek into a world with one-shots as an author. 

longest fic: The Loveless Prince. It is over 450 pages long with 29 chapters and  word count 196,869. It would have been probably another 200 pages longer if I had time for finishing it well.   This Time I Might Disappear is going to be a long fic, too, as the word count is now almost 54 000 and I have no idea how many chapters it still will have until it’s done. I tend to write horribly long fics so that’s one reason I write rarely... 

shortest fic:  Sweet Promise;  Words: 2,281

most hits: The Wingman Visits;  71932

most kudos:  The Wingman Visits;  3202

most comment threads: The Loveless Prince;  2279

most bookmarks:  The Wingman Visits (431) and The Loveless Prince (430) are almost at tie.

total word count:  Is this like all fics combined? If so then it’s 583,824 with the 18 fics. Yes. I counted. And most of the fics aren’t even finished yet, sigh....

favorite fic i wrote:  I really enjoyed working with The Loveless Prince. It took me by surprise so many times. Readers were like “OOOO you foreshadowed this!” and I was “I DID???” :D I’m still sad the ending isn’t up to its standards, but I hope someday to write a proper end to it. 

fic you want to rewrite or expand on: Better ending for  The Loveless Prince. I think I will rewrite Training The Female Turk someday in the future. 

share a bit of a wip or story idea you’re planning on:  If I share, then I won’t actually write anything because my brain goes “You spoke it out loud. Now it’s completed.”  But I can tell that it would be nice to write more one-shots to Velvet Sweetmine or perhaps try if I could do Dragon Age fic. Strange Magic fic would be wonderful, too.

IN WHICH MARINETTE LEARNS THE TRUTH,

Marinette went through her notes multiple times and she always ended up to the same conclusion; while Kwami was the energy giving miraculous its power, it couldn’t be controlled. It was the Kwami which controlled the Miraculous holder, giving them their power if they were deemed good enough for a Miraculous. The information Chat had found her also said that Ladybug and Chat Blanc’s Miraculouses would cancel one another.

…Well, almost said that. There was no name of Chat Blanc, but Chat Noir.

Marinette understood why Chat Blanc was turning black: He should have been Chat Noir in the first place. She, however, had no idea why the man now named Chat Blanc had turned white instead of black when he got his Miraculous. She pondered if she could somehow pry info about that from Chat Blanc. Some hint, some tip, anything.

THIS TIME I MIGHT DISAPPEAR HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH CHAPTER 11. I’m so happy to see people still reading this after 3 years’ hiatus. I’m super happy to be back and see this fic till its end.

Gosh, I was really into your ML This Time I Might Disappear fic, to then realize it hadn't been updated in roughly three years. Though it is in indefinite hiatus and that does disappoint me immensely, I was glad to have discovered it in the first place and appreciate your style of writing. My heart certainly ached in its emotional moments, and I felt the pain you've orchestrated for these characters. Hope you're doing okay in life, your works are amazing!

I got a bit disheartened with fic writing when I started to get lots of comments that fics need proofreading because my English isn’t perfect. As my experiences with proofreaders have been difficult - many do not have time or interest to devote themselves for a fic with long chapters for a year or so - I pretty much have stopped writing.  It feels horrible to pour your heart out and do your best, just to get comments that this is not good enough. 

With the last long fic I wrote, I think I had 6 different proofreaders, until the last one of them was able to work with me for 9 months. She read around 400 pages worth of text, which was phenomenal and I’m forever thankful for Rynn for the enormous project!

Whenever a proofreader leaves, the fic stops until I can find a new reader.

I also feel bad for asking people to read 10-16 pages long chapters for proofreading for free. If I can, I will give them a recommendation in LinkedIn and tell they can add the proofreading into their resume, but it’s still free work....
