literally when are micah-10 and nkechi-32 going to return from the war (of being background characters who are mentioned like 5 times and never again)

I want to see a Nkechi-32 & Agu & Glint (& Crow) follow up.

What would the two of them have to say about Glint finding his guardian after so long? About his guardian being the former prince? They seem to keep up with guardian gossip, and have some interest in the reef, surely they'd have opinions about it.

She and Agu joked that Glint might find the greatest guardian ever ... if they knew about Crow's accomplishments in the face of, well, everything, how would they react? If they met Crow, what stories would they tell him about Glint before he was Glint, before he was Pulled Pork, all those decades ago when he was just a random, unpartnered ghost desperately searching Mars for his person?

Reasons why Nkechi-32 should be your favorite character from the lore, despite appearing only starring in one (1) lore piece, and being mentioned offhand in three others:

Participated in the battle of Twilight Gap

Makes adorable banter with her ghost, Agu

Has tremendous pauldrons

Has a magnificent feather ruff that Agu hangs out inside of

Likes to sit on the hull of her ship reading guardian social media

Thinks guardians do too much complaining on social media (relatable!)

Does zero-gravity parkour in the Reef

Was the person who gave Crow’s future ghost the nickname “Pulled Pork”

Gave Pulled Pork tips on finding his guardian (so really, we have her to thank for Crow)

Nkechi-32 (and Agu ^.^) concept sketch

We don’t really have much to go on for her besides having a wonderful feather ruff and giant pauldrons, but I tried to make the rest of her outfit match. Vaguely inspired by some of the old Crucible armor sets, since I’ve always associated her with Shaxx and figure she might run in the Crucible? (She seems to follow Crucible gossip, at least.)

Color-scheme wise, I think she’s bright and colorful: I headcanon her having a frame that’s mostly carbon fiber and anodized metal, with her metal parts literally being like ... rainbow-colored (example under the cut). Her armor would be blues and purples mostly.

I had a lot of fun writing about early City Age Saint-14, as well as speculating what Vell Tarlowe and Nkechi-32 might have been up to at that time! Also, digging a little into the Saint-14 and Speaker relationship which is something that’s endlessly interesting to me, but very under-explored.
