I'm having a real hard time figuring out what to write here.
I'm not going to get into the specifics of NLCS Game 6. I don't want to relive it. Besides, when your team loses by 9 runs, do the specifics even matter?
Clayton Kershaw had his worst start of the year at the worst possible time. I'm not upset with him so much as I am disheartened to see the best there is fail. It was a horrible bookend to an incredible season. He was a joy to watch all year, and I look forward to watching him in Dodger blue for years to come.
Yasiel Puig made some really dumb plays in the outfield. It's what everyone said would happen. Go on, have a field day with it, national media/haters. Don't forget that the Dodgers wouldn't have gotten this far in the first place without him.
Hanley Ramirez got his rib broken in the first at bat of the first game of the NLCS. I can't help but feeling like this series would've gone a lot differently if he hadn't been in such bad pain to the point of being unable to play for all six games. Does that make me feel better? No, not really. Joe Kelly sitting on something sharp would, though.
I'll get some more coherent thoughts down when the wounds are a little less fresh.
