It is just through the difference in kind that right harmony comes into existence, and not through uniformity among all peoples. If this had been willed then there would have been one country and one people. This, however, would soon bring a standstill and ultimately decay and death, because the refreshing influence of the complementary would be missing! Here again just look at the flowers in the meadows, which stimulate and refresh and indeed spread happiness around on account of their variety. Excerpt from the Grail Message Beauty of the Peoples United we stand, in our diversity lies our strength and beauty. I also want to give my thoughts on the norm of calling a section of Africans, African Americans and migrants Black, personally I don't see the reason why.... Our skin tone ranges from lightest brown to black in which there are various gradations in-between so I don't see the need for the generalisation as Black people. If we are said to be coloured, yet Black, while whites are not coloured, then that also proves our being called Black false since black and white aren't generally regarded as colours. We all are coloured that is why we can see us. We also were taught colours and the colour of my skin is brown. I don't know whatever other specific reason was given for calling a certain tribe or people Black, but I believe it's our choice to own who we are. It's a question of acceptance which cannot be blamed on colonialism, colour or region. We write our own stories and say who we are and not accept to be told who we aren't. So the question we should be asking ourselves is what do we represent...it would likewise be offensive to call a person Off white or pale pink. I do believe it is a mindset that should be reformed. 🙏🏼 🌷♥️ United we stand, divided we fall. The earth needs our diversity in all forms to thrive.
