Forgot to mention! I saw/met Josh again on Sunday (30.11.25) while he was in Liverpool! Forgot to take Mini Josh out of my bag to get a photo of him, dammit.
Lots of mischief and chaotic energy in the room. He noticed me in the front row yet again, even his driver afterwards recognises me now! Whoops 😂

4/11/25. Josh Widdicombe: Not My Cup of Tea @ Storyhouse, Chester (Round 1!)
What is going on this week?! I met Hillsy again on Sunday in Warrington, 48 hours later, Josh’s tour show! I just need Alex to complete the week…
Tonight, it was another visit to see Josh for his Not My Cup of Tea tour stop in Chester - where we saw Hillsy in 2018 for his book tour! Couldn’t believe how close we were in the front row, I literally thought we’d be staring at Josh’s feet the entire time…
We last saw Josh doing what he does best in Crewe for his tour WIP show back in June, then I bumped into him later that week after Ivo’s final Carousel show in Soho!
Everyone’s fave curlyhead is back and grumpier than ever. Anything from Co-op Radio, his car reg plate being cloned, kids’ birthday parties, school PE lessons and being a Swiftie all got a mention. It was lovely to see him once again and to see his show in the finalised form.
Josh had a few “am I being thick?!” moments during the first half with some audience members (shoutouts to Andy & Chris!), while he noticed my Blur hat and I’m taking it as meeting him again - as today was TEN YEARS since I first saw/met him in Southport!
Josh’s support this time around was Louise Young, a Geordie who actually lives my way and is VERY excited about her purple bin! YESSSSS.
Sadly, didn’t get to chat to him afterwards as we saw his car leaving the venue not long after. Can’t wait for Round 2 in town end of the month!
Josh is also doing a WIP in Crewe at the Lyceum Theatre (where I first met Hillsy!) on Monday 2nd June 2025 - be quick!
Not often he does something like this in the North!!
