“You better have a good reason to be here –––– because I’m hungry.”

You wouldn’t catch the old Elena at a bar. Especially not at noon. But the old Elena was gone, once again, and this time it was for good. And these days –– she didn’t have anywhere better to be. She sat at the bar, drink in hand when she noticed someone approach the bar just a few feet from her, which made the bar’s current occupancy three, including the bartender. “I was starting to think I was the only day drinker around here,” she said, finishing off what was left in her glass.

“The LEAST you could do is point me in the direction of a decent bar.”

“Oh will you just shut up –––––,” she commanded at the girl whimpering in front of her as Elena removed her teeth from her neck. “I’m done with you now, clean yourself up, forget this happened, and get out of my way.”
Elena glanced at herself in the bathroom mirror, cleaning the blood off her lips before running her fingers through her hair. Walking back out into the bar and out of the bathroom she let out a sigh making her way over towards the bar. Leaning against it she ordered a drink, feeling a familiar presence near by.
“I’m getting bored,” she said with a sigh, picking up the drink that had just been placed in front of her. “I want to do something fun, you said this place was fun.”

“I’m sorry, I’ve completely stopped listening. I think it’s cause I didn’t care to begin with.”
No!Humanity - Headcanon.
Despite the term no!humanity unlike other vampires when Lucien flicks the switch he really is no more dangerous if you’re not double crossing him. Yes he is heartless and has no remorse, he becomes careless and impervious to guilt but the secret is he turns off his emotions to escape. Lucien’s no!humanity/no emotions is a permanent dose of morphine and state of limbo. For those who know him, it's a bit of a shock.
Turning off his emotions is easy; turning them back on?
Not so much.
Things Lucien loses with the switch.
The urge to care and be more humane.
Ability to love. (Just a memory.)
His conscience.
A Lot of his sarcasm & sass.
A lot of his traits.
Curiousity.
The slight self-consciousness he has.
Things Lucien gains with the switch.
Greater blood-lust.
Power (He feeds more.)
Control of his abilities. (He is no longer careful with them.)
A more serious outlook.
True arrogance. (It is no longer a mask.)
A numbness that with emotions he could only dream of.
"Mmm, I haven't had one of these in a while. Do refresh my memory as to why I stopped drinking human blood again."
