Ok so one time I went to the book fair at school and there was this huge guy with a beard who was supposed to keep people from bringing in backpacks to like steal but I didn’t know so I was walking in and he put his hand up and said “No backpacks” but as an instinct I just hi-fived him

New Security Measures

How is the no backpack policy supposed to actually work if they expect us to still go to through with our classes?

I live off campus and when I go down to oakland, I bring all the things I need for the day. That includes all books i might need for class, pens, notebooks, and maybe flashcards for studying when i have a small break in between class or articles I need to read. I don't have the time to walk back to my house to get what I need in between classes, and I can't just carry all the books that i need in my arms. My housemates carries three large text books to class some days which she uses in those classes and needs to bring. What is she supposed to do?

Have you actually thought this through at all Pitt? Can you just end the god damn semester or something? This is getting incredibly ridiculous and I don't know how the hell you expect us to keep going with this semester. I appreciate your efforts but what the fuck?

Can we just end the semester early? I'm so done with this crap..
