Found this little thing and brought him inside to give him food and water since he was in the garage-not in the attic like the other babies-and when we tried to set him outside after getting him unstuck, he was shaking terribly and fell out of the tree every time he tried to climb it. His breathing is slow while holding him, and he refuses to drink water.
Don’t worry, we’re not keeping him because I would never captivate a naturally wild animal as that is just unfair, but we are having the vet look at him tomorrow. What would your advice be if you or someone you know has been through this kind of thing before? The pic is of ‘Binky’ as my grandfather so graciously named him and he is only slightly bigger than my hand fully extended, tail and all. He’s also very docile towards humans and only bit at me once when we were getting him unstuck in the garage. I know he probably shouldn’t be this way, and he sleeps constantly despite being past that newborn stage.
