Word to the Wise – Check Your Gateway
Here at Webconnex, we always have your back. This is why we like to help you prevent the avoidable headaches that can be a complete waste of time, energy and frustration.
Many companies or organizations put on one large event each year, and during the months between, they will pause their account with Webconnex. When it comes time to begin accepting registrations for an upcoming event, they will then continue their Webconnex account and make their form live. This is one of the great perks about using Webconnex; no contracts! You can use and pay for the software as needed.
When continuing your account after a significant amount of time, there is one thing to be mindful of. Be sure to check in with your gateway provider. Many gateways will automatically become inactive if left unused for a year or more; and sometimes you may not receive a notice from your gateway provider of this deactivation.
For your next event, as you getting ready to go live with your form, be sure to add, “Contact Gateway” to your to-do list. It should be a quick and easy phone call to ensure everything is ready to begin processing payments.
