Every Diwali, India engages in a healthy debate on the use of crackers while celebrating Diwali.
We, at Jugnoo, believe that there is enough compelling evidence to move away from crackers. So, we have decided to celebrate the 'festival of lights' in its true sense.
Continuing with our last year's initiative "Patakhe hatao Jugnoo udao", we encourage you to say no to crackers and let's light up the sky with Jugnoos (Our mascot -sky lantern).
This year the initiative is going to be bigger and grander. We are taking the party to the following cities and inviting all the Jugnoo users to light up the sky.

- Gurgaon, Haryana: Back side parking Iffco Towers, Sector 29.

These Jugnoos (sky lanterns) will be provided free of cost to everyone attending the event if show the invoice of a Jugnoo ride taken on 28th October, 2016.

This Diwali, please, please, please, I urge you to avoid bursting crackers that are very loud and high in their pollution levels, mainly 'laddis', aerial crackers, and 'bombs'. For our few fleeting minutes of fun, we put animals through the worst kind of torture, because their hearing abilities are between 4-7 times better than those of humans. They take days to recover, and in some cases they don't- it can cause death. Stray animals are affected in an even worse way, they are homeless and have no refuge. Please, I urge you to be considerate about the animals and the environment and even the people around you. Crackers should be an added pleasures for everyone, not a danger or a nuisance to some and selfish pleasure for others. Please be empathetic and try to spread the message as far and wide as possible.
