I want to make a whole big massive post purely on how I imagine the marauder’s hair to look like and headcanons and stuff cause it’s cool and interesting…. BUT I am pretty tired right now SO I’m only going to do Lily’s and if this post does well, I’ll do more posts!

(and yes I did literally just take screenshots of my pinterest board we won’t talk about that)

I imagine Lily to have more short neat and tidy hair in her early years of hogwarts, sort of representing herself before she warmed up to the marauders and let go of her worries (when she was more ‘stuck up’ some would say).

Later on, I can see her with much longer, frizzy hair. Still styled how she wants it but she doesn’t feel a need to present herself anymore. Not for all the purebloods or bullies (marauders) or asshole teachers or snape. She feels free, she feels brave and she’s confident she will make it through the war (…).

Lily definitely takes a lot of pride in her hair. If anything gets in her hair, the whole planet has to take a two minute break so she can get it out and make a fuss about it.

I absolutely LOVE seeing lily depicted with like real 70s styled hair UGH it’s just such a look on her!! she also has wispy little bangs now because I said so :))

Lily wears lots more of headbands and clips to keep her hair out the way (and to look pretty). She probably exceeded the limit of how much luggage she could carry to hogwarts with all her little bits and bobs for her hair in her bag.

That’s it! It’s a bit late so I probably fucked this up somehow and forgot something or said too much or whatever but I don’t care
