I thought you guys needed to see my cactus...
I didn't try to grow it this way, this little pig pot is pretty narrow so I think that's why this happened. It seems perfectly happy so I just let it grow. 😊
(please ignore all the other junk on my table 🙄)
George had such zero chill about Jonrya that he described the leather of Needle's scabbard as supple as sin. Scabbard in latin is vagina, I wish I was kidding but they're in a bedroom, he's giving her a phallic object and they're secretive about their meeting, but George had to describe the scabbard as sinful on top of it all.
The “Needle is Jon Snow’s d*ck” metas are literally what got me into this fandom
why cant i be a normal adult? im 20 years old taking my mando action figure everywhere with me in my pocket. i got out an old doll bed so he has somewhere comfy when i go to bed 😔
Is there a gender-neutral word for “bravo/a” because I never know what to yell at the trouser roles
So am I the only person who has a thing for Stanley tucci's character from jack the giant slayer? Yes? No? ???
I did not realize...
That Tumblr actively hates vegans.
This is not a matter of people just talking about vegans in a general sense. I’ve seen several people literally say that all vegans are a certain way. Some of the people I see talking the most against vegans as a whole are people who have pointed out that other groups are not a hivemind no matter what they have in common (women, men, feminists, gamers, etc.). People are individuals.
It’s making me really uncomfortable, especially when certain people I follow really seem to hate vegans for being vegan. In some cases it’s mildly terrifying to see people apply a rule of “judgement free zone” to their blogs (which is often why I follow)......and then watch them go on a massive shitposting spree against vegans.
I’ve seen people call vegans “violent”, “cruel”, “stupid”, and “weak”. I’ve seen people claim the entire vegan movement is classist, racist, and ableist. I’ve seen people claim that vegans are “oppressive”, as a whole. And this attitude is accepted and reblogged time and time again.
No, vegans are not Nazis. Why are some of you totally okay with using silencing tactics against this group? They are told they don’t have to be vegan (even if it’s for health reasons). They are told they can and should eat animal proteins (even if they are allergic). They are told they chose this life based on their individual moral and ethical code (even if their doctor instructed their diet). It’s possible to be allergic to meat, dairy, and eggs all at the same time...which would result in a diet restricted to a lot of vegan food.
Even if the major reason I’m ordering something vegan is because I’m lactose intolerant, I have to watch my language. If I say “vegan”, sometimes dairy is slipped into my meal, it is often an accident and if caught will often be shrugged off. A server once told me it was “just a little bit of butter” because they had overheard me say “Ooo vegan!” about the meal...my question was: “How did just a little bit of butter end up on a meal advertised as vegan?”...turns out they butter it unless you say you’re lactose intolerant (which means it is not vegan, which means any vegan that did not notice the butter consumed butter which threw their bodily autonomy out the window). If I do say “lactose intolerant”, my order is magically almost always correct, or the server comes out and says my meal will be late...because they accidentally used butter. Why is that? I shouldn’t have to mention being lactose intolerant in order to get what I pay for...but “vegan” has so much stigma that even just ordering a soy latte could result in whole milk being added unless I make it clear that I will get sick. The words “lactose intolerant” should not be a fast pass to respect because not all vegans are lactose intolerant and not all soy lattes are ordered by vegans.
Vegans are not a hivemind. They are individuals. Beyond that though, those of you advocating bodily autonomy and love and understanding should probably stop talking so violently against vegans. You’re judging a hugely diverse group of individuals and it’s really gross. Getting threatened bodily just for being vegan is not fun, being fed things that one is allergic to just for being vegan is not fun, getting sick or dying because people refuse to understand your diet is...well...obviously really not fun.
