Day 21
Nothing crazy, just wanted to see if i could get even an ok result with some shading for a 3d ish form.
It's crazy late but I've been getting better at practicing during the day so that partially balances out. Might use that shadowy Sun / Moon style I've repeated a few times a bit more, it makes incorporating heavy shades a lot easier. But that's mostly because i don't understand like contrast.
Day 21
Gang this was supposed to one of a few practice sketches of varying poses and complexity, but the coloring and stuff took like an actual hour ;-;
I, for the life of I, find myself unable to get the colors and tones I actually want. Well, I'll have to keep that in mind so I can get in my full practice sketches going forward.
Day 19
Was trying some advice to use a guiding curve and like partitioning segments in advance, definitely tricky I'll have to keep at it,also I didn't even think to add perspective to it ;_;. Anyway another I don't get selected for jury duty.
Day 16
Gotta keep working on like actually making forms. Not a fan of the moon end result but the raw sketch was neat. Would fix it but it took until like midnight until I could get it done, I did practice this morning anyway so I'll just try again tomorrow.
Day 15
Did a few different hand positions and got a simple sun sketch. I've also realized from seeing my tumblr feed (shoutout to Waterspark Park) that I am doing my pre-planning for like perspective and form so, so wrong.
Day 14
Howdy, I was just going some practice of a few different parts. The ruffle seems rather tricky to get well, it's got perspective stuff + only really looks good with color or shading to differentiate it. Or I'm over thinking it.
Day 13
It's stupid late right now, but hey I was reading so like it totally was definitely worth.
I'm still sorting out how to orient stuff different ways, I also need to refine drawing like the fingers, torso, pants +their patterning... basically all of it.
