Boy did I ever jump the tracks today. Worked on the Stranger Things fic I started aeons ago - No Saving Throw.

Camp goal: 15,000 words Day’s total: 867 Words Camp progress to date: 11,430 words (76.2%)

Fic: No Saving Throw Summary: Eddie saves Chrissy not once, but twice - doesn't seem to matter to his reputation nor to the threat of arrest, Carver and his cronies see to that. This is an angst ridden reworking of Stranger Things season 4 (and maybe beyond) if Chrissy had lived.

Last 14 words: … letting that Munsen spark back into his eyes. “Music. What else do you like?”

This week’s sentences come from No Saving Throw - chapter 2

“My uncle,” Eddie choked. Jesus the Hellfire club would drum him out, no saving throw, if they caught him humming anything that wasn’t metallica.

“Your uncle?”

“Listened to the odd Billy Joel song,” he said. “He might even have a cassette or two lying around somewhere.”

Not that he had the slightest hope in /hell/ that Chrissie might stick around with the likes of him once she’d gotten what she needed, but it was nice to dream, maybe, and plan… If she did maybe he could find one of Wayne’s cassettes and endure the old crooner, for Chrissie’s sake.
