Twisted Fairytales
Hansel & Gretel but the Gingerbread house is a monster
The kids got lost in woods, as Hansel’s breadcrumbs had been eaten by birds and can’t finds their way back.
They find themselves deep within the woods until they spot a cottage delectably made of gingerbread and assorted candies; candycane windows, gumdrop-tiled chocolate roofs, a chimney of choco-sticks.
A voice popped out of the sweet home, by the striped mint windows; an alluring, dulcet greeting of what is presumed to be some withered, old lady that made the house brick by soft cookie brick. “I have more sweets inside”, cooed the comforting whispers of a granny. “Step inside, I’ll each give you a gumdrop as big was your hands; cookies covered in candy-coated chocolate chips. I can even bake you a scrumptious apple pie dusted with cinnamon n powdered sugar.”
Der kinderlings could not resist. The seemingly sweet granny had hooked the children to her graham cracker-lacquered abode, as flies toward a honey-scented pitcher plant. They were expecting gumdrop dreams in the sugary cabin, only to be snared by black licorice nightmares, as the house began to warp and stretch into a hideous, glazed maw of gingerbread and gnarled glass candy jaws, a fruity rolled tongue wrapped around them, and the house grew a face of a carved pumpkin witch, with a crooked, pointed nose and some eyes glowing of candycorn. With a great big gulp, the children had seemed to vanish, and the carved witch face of the gingerbread home was a home once more, ready to lure in unsuspecting children to another delectable trap.
Rumors from the village passing by these woods had seen the house themselves whilst cutting trees for firewood. Most say it was a witch disguised as a lonesome old lady that made the home to bake kids into pies. Some have seen a freshly baked pie cooling on those peppermint windowsills that was a kinda goblin the witch concocted to eat any foolish mortal who were to take it n eat for themselves. Whatever they say about a gingerbread house in the woods, you best steer away, lest you get eaten by the Monster Gingerbread House Witch!!
