Meta-Mesa de Ángel Faraldo (Ferrol, 1980) Un marionetista sin hilo, que a través de sus estudios y experimentos con la retroalimentación de audio (feedback), insufla vida en lo inanimado y provoca una materialización absoluta del sonido en directo. Ángel Faraldo tiene una trayectoria que empieza desde la música y composición clásica para extenderse hasta la improvisación, el diseño sonoro, la experimentación y aproximación al concepto de la no-input-mixer, y su investigación en Ingeniería Musical en la UPF. http://www.angelfaraldo.info/ Sound Poetry System de Gregorio Fontén (CHL, 1983) Sound Poetry System es un híbrido que entre cantautor/surrealista/punk rocker refleja una identidad sudamericana de fragmentos y fantasías futuristas. Con voz + electrónica (synths, effects, laptop) crea un ritual DIY para la pista de baile con influencias variadas tales como el huayno, la cumbia, electrónica, psicodelia, rock andino y el disco. Fontén ha sido etiquetado por la prensa chilena como el ahijado de la legendaria banda de rock andino Los Jaivas. Su trabajo ha sido descrito como uno de canciones únicas y destartaladas, cuyo efecto es alucinatorio, corrosivo; a la vez extraño y bello. An improvisation recorded live at the Fieldwire Sessions concert on March 12, 2015 at Future Collective in Brattleboro, VT. I replaced the first minute and a half with a three-second fade-in and added a very brief fade-out at the end; not otherwise edited or post processed. I used two Moogerfoogers, a ClusterFlux and a FreqBox, as no-input sound sources. The ClusterFlux was coaxed into self-oscillation, and the FreqBox was put into a feedback loop with the assistance of an Audio Disease Rupture RP-1. The combined outputs were combined in a Behringer Micromix and then routed through a Deluxe Memory Man for some extra flavor, then into a Boomerang III looper and finally to an Orange Crush combo amp with its built-in reverb. All pitch changes, and most timbral changes, were effected by twiddling the controls of the Moogerfoogers.
