Not Everything Needs to be a Political Discussion

A coworker of mine has told me several times that he doesn’t like politics and he is absolutely not a Trump fan. Tbh, I’m not a fan either, for reasons I’ll possibly get into another time.

And although my coworker professes that he’d rather never hear anything about Trump, he still manages to steel himself through the YouTube videos he watches at his desk on days that he conveniently forgets his headphones. Joy.

On the radio, we heard a snippet of P!nk’s speech at the unveiling of her Hollywood star, and my coworker almost immediately brought up Trump. “How did Trump get a star before P!nk?”

After failing at starting up that convo a couple times, he finally gave up on goading me to join him on that train on thought, and I was able to not have to explain (some more) that I don’t know “why” anything, here. Leemee alone.
