Summary:

Reawakened, after being imprisoned for thousands of years, Apocalypse will not tolerate a world that does not bow down to the commands of their god. Desiring a counterpart to rule beside him, his search for an equally powerful mutant brings him to Erik Lehnsherr. When Erik rejects his advances, Apocalypse compels both Raven and Charles into becoming his Horsemen. To save their friends from themselves, Erik leads Hank and the younger X-Men into a war which will also determine the fate of the world. Erik has no choice but to trust in his plan, in his relationship with Charles, and in his own sense of self.

Redring91 status update (07 November 2025):

Wow, another Whumptober completed, with 31 stories written for my event-series "Erik is Whumpenstein's Monster"

Thank you everyone for all your kind comments and kudos throughout!

Now that Whumptober is done, I'm going to return to working on my Erik Lehnsherr appreciation work No.200: "Armageddon Game" for the rest of the year. Act II is currently 70% written.

Expect a further update from me soon about my upcoming posting schedule, regarding when Act II will begin.

Summary:

Hmm… debating whether to post the conclusion of Act I for ‘Armageddon Game’ early, owing to the upcoming AO3 scheduled maintenance.

Given us Aussie live in the future, the difference between posting Thursday and Friday and Saturday are negligible really…

If I post in the next few hours, that gives folks time to read, kudos, comment, download, etcetera, before the 20hr Dead Zone, yeah?

Redring91 status update (03 March 2025):

So, with all 10 stories posted, my Fluffuary2025 event-series (‘Fluffy Memory, Erik… Thank You’) has been completed.

Which has resulted in this statistic:

And so, No.200 is almost upon us.

With this in mind, here’s some information about my upcoming schedule

MAYhem2025 –

For scheduling purposes, the 05 stories for my upcoming MAYhem event have been written.

(One of which, as I revealed during Fluffuary, will be the next instalment of my ‘Self-Existent Eldritch Erik’ series.)

I’ll release my MAYhem2025 prompts on 02 April 2025.

Erik Lehnsherr appreciation story No.200 –

To expand upon my previous updates about No.200 – it will debut in May 2025, and will be a chaptered story with a five-act structure.

The planning phase is almost finalised – I expect to start actually writing within the week.

Now, I just have to decide whether or not to reveal the title and which of the movies I’m about to re-watch for further research purposes…

Surprise surprise, this chapter with someone NOT appreciating Erik is proving uncooperative to write.

Also, I am side-eyeing my past self with GREAT JUDGEMENT for dumping the notes about four consecutive chapters under one header, to sort out later. It is now later. WHY?
