After massage. Wash off with lukewarm water. This cleanser is a really nice surprise. It's a yellow gel that foams up to a nice lather on contact with water. I read some reviews warning that a little goes a long way with this cleanser and they're right. I use about a pea sized amount and it develops into a huge lather that breaks down makeup, sunscreen, and gunk. This cleanser doesn't dry out my skin or leave it feeling squeaky clean. I use it as a second cleanser in the evenings it's a bit much for a morning cleanser. So i'm loving this, smells like lemon and leaves my skin feeling happy, lol. Only con, if you use too much it'll take you like five minutes to wash it off and it can dry out your skin. Pretty affordable since at the rate i'm going it's going to last me like 2 years 😂.
