Saturday, March 30th - Beach Front ➟ @noaandreas
The event had been going for a few hours now and Callum had enjoyed a couple free flutes of champagne in the decadent setting. He didn't feel like he fit in but he was allowing himself to participate. What else would you want to be doing on a Saturday night? If he was too awkward to find a date, then buy one?
He hoped they liked what he had planned. It might be a little over the top but he was trying to get into the spirit of it all. They were generous enough to offer themselves for auction, so he would be kind back and give them an actual date.
"So, just over here..." he said to the person beside him. Callum had guided them to the beach just outside the hotel where he had set up a little moonlit picnic with candles and champagne. "After you," he said with a smile, holding a hand for them to use as they sat on the blanket. "Maybe this wasn't the smartest idea for a fancy dress," he added laughing.
