Noah and Clamor ASMR: First Story
Clamor: I can’t see even the moon that well tonight... It’s really dark and quiet... I haven’t seen a night like this for a long time.
Noah: You’re right... I remember how my brother and I used to sleep in the same bed together on moonless nights like this.
Clamor: Sounds very peaceful. I, on the other hand, probably dozed off while trying to finish up my work...
Noah: Until this late? Was it your homework? You should’ve finished it when the sun was up instead of getting lazy.
Clamor: Getting lazy? Please! Do you know how busy my life used to be? I had to take classes during the day and do research during the night! Just when I thought I got my own work out of the way to relax, all the new students’ projects came rushing in! I’d end up sleeping in the morning by the time I finished grading all of them...
Noah: Why are you...grading them? Shouldn’t teachers... no, professors do that?
Clamor: That’s a great question. My professor should’ve heard that one too.
Noah: Huh?
Clamor: Nothing. Let’s stop talking about this depressing and boring topic, and change the subject to a more interesting one you might enjoy. Like... the Harmony Festival, for example?
Noah: ...Where did you hear that from? I don’t think the festival was around when you were alive.
Clamor: I heard you when you were sleep talking. Your expression got better when you mentioned it. So what is this big festival about?
Noah: It’s a festival held all over the continent. If you consider its origin, it shouldn’t be such a festive occasion, but...it still was a festival. Joyous melody filled the streets, and the sky sparkled with glittering fire. I remember sharing the festival pie with everyone. These are all great, of course, the happiest part was when I got to hang out with my brother all day because there were no classes during the festival.
Clamor: They’re still holding the Harmony Festival these days, right? Let’s go take a look when there’s another one! Let’s try the pies and look at the fireworks!
Noah: Did you not listen to me while I was talking? I was never interested in the festival itself... We don’t have the time to spend on enjoying a festival. I don’t particularly like crowded places either...
Clamor: Aw, come on! It’s a festival! Learn to enjoy it once in a while! Even if you’re not in such a hurry, time will pass by quickly when you become an adult, okay? You have to enjoy your life when you can! Promise me we’ll go to the festival together.
Noah: You don’t even have the mouth to eat the pie...
Clamor: It’s not about the pie! I’m just worried about what kind of adult you’ll turn out to be!
