When Noah decided to go outside that evening, probably to check his mail, he didn’t expect to find a girl asleep on his doorstep.
But that was exactly what he’d found.
She wasn’t a girl per say. More like a young woman. No more than 20. From what he could tell she was pretty, not overly so however. More of a...plain kind of pretty. Her hair, a strange mix between red and orange, one that reminded him of a sunset, was long, falling in curls down her back. Her eyes were closed, and he could only imagine them to be an unusual color as well.
Dark eyelashes stood out against her slightly reddened cheeks, on which he noticed a splattering of freckles.
Her lips parted slightly with a sigh and he crossed his arms. “At least she isn’t dead.”
It's been so long since I drew this missing bean so here ya go UwU
I wanted to make a sad drawing of Noah. But to say he is still alive (mabye) ;)
Drew a lot today at school so here ya go also there are a few more drawings I want to post.
Noah,
I’m sorry to see you leave. You had such great potential, but I suppose you feel you must do what is best for you. You will be left alone, as promised, but consider this a parting gift. Feel free to do with the girl as you please, she is yours. She is human though, in every sense of the word, so...be gentle.
Beth.
He felt a tang of annoyance as he read over the letter a second, and even third time before crumpling it and tossing it to the floor. He sank into the arm chair he’d meandered towards while reading, rubbing a hand over his face. If this was their idea of leaving him alone, it wasn’t a very good one.
Now it was Noah’s turn to frown. His first thought was that she’d been being used to feed on, but he didn’t notice any markings on her neck or wrists. So they’d sent him someone clean, untouched. But why? And why wipe her memory?
He rubbed the back of his neck, standing. “Whatever the reason, I don’t want you here.”
“Wh-what?” He tried to ignore the hurt in her voice.
“I have no use for you. I’m sending you back.”
A light rustling drew his attention to the girl on his couch, and he was surprised to see she was pushing herself up, a dazed expression on her face.
Finally she looked at him, brushing her hair out of her eyes, which were a very pretty, almost honey color. Not much shocked Noah nowadays, but the words that came out of her mouth certainly did.
“Are you my Master?”
It took him a full minute before he was able to respond. “Okay first of all, don’t call me master. Secondly, I’m not your anyone. I don’t know who you are, or where you came from.” He ran a hand through her hair. “Where did you come from? How did you get here?”
