NOAH: Knitting? Who's your roommate, Grandma Moses?
Anna Mary Robertson "Grandma" Moses was an American folk artist who rose to fame when she was in her late 70s and died in 1961 aged 101. She was a painter and had nothing to do with knitting.

MARITA: Unagi? FLAVIO: It means raw eel.
Flavio is wrong, actually: unagi is freshwater eel, and is always served cooked due to the hazard of eating raw freshwater fish. This may be deliberate on the part of the writers as a way of making fun of Flavio's pretentiousness, but probably not.

NOAH: At least you could've told me to pick up some Dramamine, or Pepto... a saltine would be nice...
These are all used to fight nausea. Dramamine is a brand name of dimenhydrinate and Pepto-Bismol is a medication produced by Procter & Gamble, while saltines (also known as soda crackers) are thin, usually square crackers made from white flour, shortening, yeast, and baking soda, often sprinkled with salt.

NOAH: Where's Gavin McLeod when you need him?
Two Love Boat references in a row: Gavin McLeod played Captain Merrill Stubing on the show.
"Noah's Lark"
The wolverine couple who board the Ark have the same character design as the one from the Tiny Toons episode "Buster and the Wolverine" (S1E24), which also reappeared in "Washingtoon" (S3E11).

NARRATOR: ... and the animals marched two by two, onto the Looove Ark.
Just as in "Gaurdin' the Garden", Ernie Anderson is used as the narrator for another announcing gag, this time parodying his distinctive introduction to airings of The Love Boat.
