Navigating the Kingswood halls during peak class hour was always a challenging feat. Students flooded in every direction, pushing passed each other to keep their timely schedule. Some mumbled apologies as they bumped shoulders, most demanded that the 'non-legacy’ students keep out of their damn way and some, much like Jackson, tried to fly under the radar at the edges of the hallway. Navigating that particular day was especially difficult, having been lugging a giant painting in his hands. He was just on his way back from the Elizabeth building, expecting to return his painting to his dorm, before planning to re-emerge into the busy halls and hopefully make it to his own class on time.
The plan was going smoothly enough, the only real challenge Jackson faced was taking up enough room for at least three people with his sizable image still in hand. It hadn’t even crossed his mind that attempting a painting at such an ample size would be a problem that day, having carried paintings of that size through the busy halls of Kingswood many times. What made his journey a particularly unlucky one was when he spotted Noah, just a few paces ahead. Jackson had avoided Noah just about as many times as he had lugged paintings through the school, but today he wasn’t sure he’d get away quite so easily. The fact was, Jackson knew exactly why Noah had hated him so much. Was it it giant misunderstanding? He would like to think so. What wouldn’t appear to be a misunderstanding however, was the giant painting of none other than Miss Luciana Rhodes herself. @ffsnoahverde
