It had been a long day for Noah. He knew what he was signing up for when he decided to go into the field of work he was going into, but he didn’t expect it to be so… depressing. Looking at cadavers and running tests all day isn’t the most joyful thing to do, that was a given, but the reality of it all seemed to be hitting him finally. It wasn’t enough to deter him from pathology, he just knew there’d be an adjustment period.
“Honey, I’m home!” He called out playfully to his partner, kicking off his shoes and shrugging off his jacket as he waited for a response. He dropped his backpack onto the sofa and trudged into kitchen to prepare a couple drinks.
