I hate baby/pregnancy fics

One of the things that bothers me the most about these, is that they almost assume that happiness ends with a “complete” family. Husbands and wives have kids. I know that’s tradition and accepted in society, but not all of us (women) want to have kids with our significant other. Nothing against kids, I just don’t want them. I enjoy my “couple time” without a third party. 

So I hate baby/pregnancy fics because I feel that they bow to the convention of society and its “norms.”
