Look who stopped by... I’m pretty sure this little healing fawn is a female. Wounds are still severe, but she is playing with the other fawns running well and eating the new grass shoots. Update on the little fawn that was badly injured a week or so ago... Appears to be healing well, eating and moving without favoring any particular limb. Really amazing how resilient and maleable the animal spirit and body remains. This little fawn appears to be healing and in good spirits. The wounds look like it didn’t make the jump over barbed wire somewhere. It’s a miracle that it’s eating and moving so well. Needless to say, I’m going to spend the weekend tracking down and tying up old fence lines not maintained by county or city parks. Humans.
