“Hey you..Earth Girl..” Rose said softly as she entered the hospital room.  The woman on the bed wasn’t the Donna Noble that she had come to know in the parallel pocket universe. Nor was it the woman that the Doctor spoke so highly of.  “I just..I wanted to come see you, to tell you that without you..I never would have had my happy ending.  He misses you every day, did you know that?  I might be his heart but you’re the missing second one.  His best mate, the sister he never had.  Oh Donna Noble, you brilliant woman..you gave me so much, you gave me a husband, a chance at a family and here you are, in a hospital bed.  He won’t come in, he refuses too, he’s afraid that if you see him you’ll remember and that will make matters worse yeah?  They said there was brain swelling..he thinks it’s because of the Time Lord consciousness still inside of you.  I don’t know what to think honestly but he felt you, all the way across the Universe he felt the moment you got sick.  He..he is so much like you..snarky and sassy..”  Rose smiled and sat down in the chair pulled up next to the bed.  She took the woman’s hand and squeezed it.  “He broke through the walls of the universe just to see you and now himself is scared standing out in the hall..”  Rose sighed and bit her lip.  “You’re going to get better, you’re so strong, the most important woman in all of creation.  Planets still sing and rejoice in the Doctor Donna.”  Rose said with a soft smile and then sat there silently, listening to the heart monitor beep steadily.
